A stale dated claim is one that is 6 months old or older. Claims that are stale dated, need to be processed differently than normal.
First, you need to submit the claim as you would a regular claim. Once MOH rejects the claim for being stale dated, you will have to get permission from the Ministry of Health to re-submit as a stale dated claim. Only after you have received the approval from MOH can you re-submit the stale dated claims, marking it for Manual Review.

Stale dated claims will not be accepted by the Ministry if you have not received prior approval.
