CabMD allows you to add claims from all over Canada. Here is an example of how to enter a claim from any province. Please note, if you are billing a claim from Quebec, there is a separate form and steps you need to follow.
Step 1: To add a claim from outside of Ontario, simply choose the province in which the patient is from.
Step 2: Click on the "Province" drop down menu, and select the province you are billing from.
Step 3: Once you have selected the Province, add the patients details. Make sure the Health Number is the number from that province. Add the patients first and last name, date of birth and gender. Health cards from outside of Ontario cannot be validated.
Step 4: After you have finished entering the patients information, you can then continue the claim by filling in the Service Detail section. Make sure to fill out all the appropriate fields to minimize the chance of the claim being rejected.
Step 5: When you are finished, choose to "Save and Add Same Patient", "Save and Add New Patient" or "Save and Finish" to complete the claim and have it go into your submitted claims section.
