CabMD allows you to bill claims from all over Canada. If you are billing a patient from Quebec, the steps to do this are slightly different from filling out a claim for Ontario. Here is a quick guide of how to fill out a claim for a Quebec Patient.

Step 1: To fill out a claim for a Quebec patient, you first have to find the Quebec Claim page. To find this, click on "Claims" on the left hand side menu of CabMD. At the bottom, you will find "Add Quebec Claim".

Step 2: Once inside the claim, the first thing you want to do is make sure your mailing and contact information is correct. To do this, click on "Edit Details", located next to your name.

Step 3: Fill out your information including your address, city, province and postal code.

Step 4:, Complete the "Payable To" field. Type in the name of the person or company the ministry will pay the claim to. You can type in the name of the company you wish them to bill or simply type in your name.

Step 5: After you have completed the Payment Details, continue to complete the Claim adding Patient Details and Service Details. Make sure all of the required fields are filled out, as this will help reduce the chance of the claim being rejected.
Step 6: Once you are finished, you can either select "Save and finish" (Yellow Arrow), and the claim will be added to your Unsubmitted section to be printed later, or if you are ready to do that now, click the "Save & Print" icon on the upper right. (Red Arrow) This will print off the claim for you to mail to the Ministry.

Step 7: Once that has been printed, you can then mail the printed claims to the Ministry at the following address:

La Regie De L’assurance Maladie du Quebec
Case Postale / PO Box 500
Quebec City, Quebec
G1K 7B4

RSMO billing is slightly more complex, in that you have to submit the claim through both CabMD as above AND through the RSMO website. The claim will be remitted through OHIP as an RMB claim like all others, but duplicate submission is necessary.

Unfortunately, at this time we have no integrated solution for RSMO billing. Should this change in the future, or if you have any information that might be relevant - please let us know.
